Chris Gore - Secretary

          Chris Gore is a dynamic professional with a passion for community engagement and a proven track record in event planning and design. A proud graduate of Clemson University, Chris moved to Wilmington, NC in 1995 and has called it home ever since.
He has made a significant impact through his community involvement in various organizations. He has served on the board of directors of the Cape Fear Literacy Council, and has showcased his exceptional leadership skills as the Event Director for the Willie Stargell Foundation, successfully overseeing and coordinating numerous charitable events.

          Always guided by his entrepreneurial spirit, Chris co-owned Events at Watermark, an event planning company creating memorable and expertly executed events. Building on his passion for design, he also founded Chris Gore Interiors, a residential and commercial design firm. Considered his true passion, Chris’ work can be seen in the numerous homes that he has done for clients, and the beautiful historic home that he and his husband restored in 1996.

          Over the past several years, Chris has developed and co-chaired several events for the NC Azalea Festival and he looks forward to even more substantive contributions to the organization through service on its Board of Directors.
