GETTING HERE

Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park
2251 George Flagg Pkwy, Des Moines 

By Car

All parking is $10, cash only.   You may enter from any of the following entrances:

• Entrance 1 - Fleur Drive
• Entrance 2 - George Flagg Pkwy from Fleur Drive
• Entrance 3 - George Flagg Pkwy from West Side *

ADA parking can be accessed from any entrance point.

Ride Share / Drop Off & Pick Up
Please use Entrance 2.

By Bike

A bike valet is located just west of the amphitheater. 

Peak Traffic Times
Please be patient and allow for some time to arrive and exit during peak traffic times: between 6:30-7:30pm and after the performance. Parking lots will open at 5pm, so please consider coming early!

*Pro Tip: Avoid the traffic by using Entrance 3 George Flagg Pkwy from West Side (63rd to Park Ave to George Flagg). 

AMPHITHEATER ENTRANCE
All ticket holders may use the main event entrance (purple star on map) on the north side of the venue. ADA entrance is located on the west side of the amphitheater. 

RULES

Seating: Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed in the General Admission area only. Seating is provided in the Reserved sections with an assigned seat number and row. 

Allowed Items: Please feel free to bring an empty refillable water bottle for refilling at our free water station courtesy of Des Moines Water Works.
 
Not Allowed Items: Outside food or drink (empty refillable water bottles are allowed), wagons, professional photography equipment or SLRs, pets, weapons of any kind. All entrants are subject to search.

Enjoy an assortment of food & drink from our onsite vendors. Note: All bars accept  cash or credit.

PREPARE YOUR TICKETS

AXS Mobile ID digital tickets are tickets you use with your phone - similar to e-tickets or mobile tickets from an airline or movie theater. For security reasons, screenshots and printing mobile tickets are not available and tickets can only be accessed through the AXS App.

Follow these steps on how to use them:

- Open your AXS app and click the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen.
Select your event and your tickets will display.
- Going in a group? Enter together or transfer your tickets before the show.
- Show the tickets at the door to get them scanned upon entry.
- Don't have access to wi-fi? Don't worry. Your tickets will display in your AXS
app on event day if you are connected to wi-fi or not.

Can't find your tickets?

If you are unable to locate your tickets within your AXS account, please refer to your order confirmation email that includes instructions on how to view your tickets or if you chose a different form of delivery. 
 
Were tickets transferred to you?
 If you already have an AXS account, the tickets will be transferred to your account automatically. Otherwise, you’ll get an email letting you know you need to create an AXS account to claim the tickets. Just follow the simple steps to make the tickets officially yours.

WILL CALL TICKETS & BOX OFFICE

Have tickets set for will call? Pick them up at the box office starting at door time by presenting a valid ID.
