Hollywood in the Desert Historic Tour

Embark on our 'Hollywood in the Desert' tour starting June 2024! Explore film history and beat the heat with our ‘Cool Spot Stops’ along the way to explore our film and television history museum, film prop exhibit, and numerous photo opportunities including a Petting Zoo! 

 

HOLLYWOOD IN THE DESERT HISTORIC TOURS

Introducing our new Hollywood in the Desert Historic Tour exploring the rich film and production history of our western studio and park. Each of our 60-minute semi-private tours are guided by an Old Tucson historian.

 

GHOST TOURS

Grab your lantern and gather your nerves to hear the stories and legends of the ghosts of Old Tucson. Each Ghost Tour will last 90-minutes, with groups limited to a max of 25 guests per tour. Our Guide will take you on a journey through our most haunted buildings and provide a chance to encounter our beloved ghosts.

The 1970 movie, Rio Lobo , was filmed here at Old Tucson, starring John Wayne (shown above) and Jorge Rivero. This western war movie makes good use out of Old Tucson's Western film sets and landscapes.
