2025 marks an important milestone for the New York International Auto Show: we will be celebrating 125 years of America's first Auto exhibition. To commemorate this special anniversary, we will be introducing a series of new activities and unique events that highlight the history and future of the auto industry. We will provide updates about these special events in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I'm pleased to update you on our continued efforts to control exhibitor costs. As you know, last year, we took a major step, changing the Show's General Contractor for the first time in 40 years. Working with a new GC gave us the ability to hold 2023 labor pricing for the 2024 show as promised.
This year, we are pleased to advise you of more savings for exhibitors by adjusting our show hours. After a thorough review and numerous conversations with many of our exhibitors, we will be changing the show hours for 2025. Here is the new schedule:
Monday through Thursday will be 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Fridays & Saturdays are from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm and
Sunday(s) hours are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
This adjustment to the show schedule reflects a change in the time at which the public visits the show. Along with the efforts we have made to reduce your labor and exhibition costs, we hope this schedule change helps to further reduce your operational costs.
We thank you for your feedback on how we can continue to make the show better and help accommodate your operational and financial needs. We always appreciate your thoughts to grow the New York Auto Show and any additional cost-saving changes for the future.
If you have any questions about this change or anything else, give us a call at 718.746.5300.
I look forward to seeing you in April for the 125th anniversary of the New York Auto Show!
Best regards,
Mark Schienberg
