New York, NY - February 16, 2026: With winter still gripping the Northeast, the all-new, second-generation Volkswagen Atlas is already proving it’s more than ready for New York. Ahead of its world debut during the New York International Auto Show, Volkswagen put camouflaged Atlas prototypes through their paces on a frozen lake in Canada, pushing the SUV through deep snow, slick ice, and extreme cold. The icy proving ground offered a fitting preview of what’s to come when the all-new Atlas makes its official reveal in Manhattan.
